Our summer collection
2026 with real innovation
Functional headwear for running, hiking, and trail running: with our 2026 summer collection, we are launching a comprehensive summer line for the first time. The focus is on innovative cooling technology, sustainable materials, and sporty color trends.
With our Summer 2026 collection, we are introducing a groundbreaking expansion of our product range. For the first time, our brand will offer not only winter products but also year-round headwear solutions for active sports enthusiasts. "The world of sports is changing, and we are evolving with it. Our goal is to become the number one brand for sports headwear in the DACH region – even in summer," explains Managing Director Jürgen Nairz . "The summer collection brings our decades of winter expertise to the summer season – with genuine innovation."
Patented cooling technology as the highlight
The central highlight of the summer collection is therefore the introduction of TRIPLE CHILL EFFECT™ technology by brrr°. This is a patented cooling technology that:
- immediately and permanently lowers skin temperature through cooling minerals
- enables active moisture wicking,
- and provides a pleasant microclimate through rapid drying.
“This makes us pioneers in technical headwear across Europe” says Beck says with pride. Some of the models are manufactured in Asia, as certain functional materials are no longer available in Europe. The classic knitwear, which remains in the product range, will continue to be produced in Feldkirchen an der Donau as usual.
To that end, Irmgard Beck, an expert in product development, was brought on board at the beginning of the year and plays a key role in shaping the summer collection. "The idea was to develop headwear for warm days that is lightweight, cooling, and functional," explains the Lower Austria native.
Broad target audience and strong color palette
The products appeal to both beginners and ambitious athletes – whether strolling in the park, trail running in the mountains, or participating in urban marathons. "We develop products that are meant to become true favorites – durable, functional, and tested by real athletes," says Beck. Prototypes are currently being rigorously tested by skeleton star Janine Flock, snowboard professional Arvid Auner, and selected Austrian Ski Federation athletes.
With our first-ever summer collection, we are initiating the transformation from a purely winter brand to one that reliably accompanies sports enthusiasts 365 days a year. "Winters are getting shorter, and the transitional seasons are getting longer. We want to, and must, take this development into account. Retailers put aside the thick wool hats by February or March at the latest. But lightweight hats and functional versions remain on the shelves all year round," says Nairz.
The color palette of the summer collection also sets new accents:
RASPBERRY: Fresh, vibrant, ideal for digital channels
GOLDEN GLOW: Sunny and powerful
DEEP LAKE: Sporty and vital
EARTH BROWN: Durable and robust
HORIZON BLUE: Refined sports aesthetics
The first products of the summer collection will be available in specialist retail stores from the end of February/beginning of March 2026.
