Breathability refers to a material's ability to allow water vapor (sweat) to pass from the inside to the outside, and is therefore a measure of its water vapor permeability.

Moisture-regulating refers to the property of a material to absorb excess moisture, store it, and release it again when needed to ensure a healthy, dry, and comfortable indoor climate or wearing comfort.

This product contributes to sustainability by being made from environmentally friendly materials. These are either natural fibers such as merino wool or recycled materials such as recycled polyester, which is used, among other things, as inner fleece. In addition, Eisbär continues to produce around 80% of all products in its own production facilities in Upper Austria – naturally avoiding environmentally harmful substances such as biocides or silver ions.

Quick-drying materials, which often contain synthetic fibers, do not absorb water as much, but instead wick it away from the skin. Synthetic materials such as Lyocell, polyester, and polyamide also dry faster than natural fibers because they repel moisture and do not absorb it as well.
