The Olympic Team Austria presents itself in Eisbär
At the mountain station of Patscherkofel, high above Innsbruck, a special moment was celebrated 101 days before the opening of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics: the Olympic and Paralympic Team Austria unveiled their new collection – with Eisbär once again serving as the official headwear outfitter.
Between snowfall and bursts of sunshine, the mountain station turned into an alpine runway where Austria’s top athletes – including Anna Gasser, Janine Flock, Arvid Auner, Lisa Hauser, Markus Salcher, and Alessandro Hämmerle – made their first appearance in the new outfits. The stunning backdrop, the joint presentation of Olympic and Paralympic athletes, and the palpable sense of unity made the event a powerful symbol of togetherness and lived inclusion.
Made in Austria – for the greatest moments in winter
Eisbär completes the official team outfit with a new collection specially developed for Milan Cortina 2026. From functional headbands to classic wool beanies and modern tubes – the accessories were developed together with Janine Flock and matched to the overall red-white-red appearance.
"Our new collection is 100 percent tailored to Team Austria – functional, stylish, made in Austria. We are delighted to be part of the Olympic journey again," says Eisbär CEO
Jürgen Nairz.
Skeleton World Cup winner and Eisbär testimonial Janine Flock, who was herself involved in the development, adds:
"It makes a difference when you can have a say yourself. The new beanies not only look great – they fit perfectly, keep you warm and really make you look forward to the Olympics."
The starting signal for the hot phase
The collection presentation marks the beginning of the final preparations for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. For
the Olympic Team Austria, the decisive phase now begins – with maximum motivation and perfectly coordinated equipment from head to toe.
For us, this moment is a symbol of what drives us: passion for sport, closeness to the athletes and
trust in quality from Austria – made for the great moments.
