EU harmonised notice: legal guarantee

Your rights when you buy – legal guarantee

When you buy our products, the statutory legal guarantee applies to you as a consumer. If a product does not have the agreed or reasonably expected characteristics at the time of delivery, you are entitled to the remedies provided by law. The guarantee period is generally at least two years.

If a product does not conform to the contract, please contact us. Depending on the legal requirements, the main remedies are free repair or replacement, and in certain cases a price reduction or a refund of the purchase price. A proof of purchase helps us handle your request faster.

With gift vouchers, you can purchase a digital gift card that contains a specific amount for purchases in the Eisbär online shop.

  • The gift card is linked to a voucher code that can be used to gradually redeem the credit.
  • Remaining balances are retained and can be redeemed for the next purchase.
  • The same terms and conditions apply to products purchased with a gift voucher as they do for a regular purchase in the Eisbär online shop.
  • The validity of the voucher codes corresponds to the currently applicable legal provisions. Currently, this is 3 years from the date of purchase.
