Odour blocking

Compared to other materials, natural merino wool can be considered the material that keeps the air cleanest. This is due to the structure of the fiber, its antibacterial surface, and its self-cleaning effect. A comparison between merino and synthetic materials also shows that synthetics usually start to smell faster. A true marvel of nature! Nevertheless, it must be clear that wool absorbs moisture and is therefore less suitable for people who sweat heavily in intensive mode.

The Isor Beanie is thin enough to sit under a ski helmet and still covers your ears. That makes it work for a January ski tour as much as an April trail run. It wicks moisture outwards and resists odour, even across several sessions a week. Inside sits a high-performance fleece lining that keeps the regular fit close to your head.
