This partnership is unique in winter sports: Eisbär and Ski Austria are celebrating their 50th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the special ‘50 Years of Ski Austria’ collection was presented to the public before the World Cup opener in Sölden. In addition to Eisbär Managing Director Jürgen Nairz and Ski Austria President Roswitha Stadlober, testimonials Stephanie Venier and Rainer Schönfelder were also present at the first style check at Intersport Glanzer.

Eisbär has been the official outfitter of ÖSV athletes since 1975 and is thus part of the winter sports success story that has already been written in the World Cup, World Championships and Olympic Games. The Eisbär special collection ‘50 Years of Ski Austria’ combines sporting tradition, Austrian craftsmanship and modern performance. Inspired by half a century of winter sports on slopes, trails and ski jumps, iconic designs and classic elements have been reinterpreted.

Not an easy task for the design team, as Eisbär Managing Director Jürgen Nairz reveals: "It wasn't easy to pack 50 years of shared history into one collection. I am all the more delighted that we have packed timeless knit patterns with bold colours and high-quality materials into an entire collection that includes hats, headbands and Norwegian sweaters. I am particularly pleased about this comeback!‘ As well as the long-standing, appreciative collaboration with Ski Austria: ’Five decades of partnership are a clear commitment to quality, trust and our shared love of winter sports, and proof of what is possible when two strong partners share the same passion."

The collection combines the best of both worlds: sporty, suitable for everyday wear, stylish – and made from fine merino wool and functional blended yarn to meet the highest standards of warmth, comfort and durability.

For Ski Austria President Roswitha Stadlober, the high quality standards of the traditional Upper Austrian company are one reason for the long-standing partnership: ‘We will be celebrating our “golden wedding anniversary” in the 2025/2026 season, proof of stability, trust and a common foundation.
