Outfitting & Farewell of the Olympic Team Austria

Two days, one clear moment: now it's getting serious. Over the past few days, the athletes of Olympic Team Austria came together at the Vienna Marriott Hotel to officially get kitted out for the Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina 2026.

For Eisbär, the fitting is always more than just an appointment in the calendar. It is the point at which months of development, material testing, and fine-tuning meet the people who will soon be competing for their country. When function meets attitude. And product becomes trust.

When performance becomes tangible

Between fittings, exchanges, and many conversations, one thing was particularly noticeable: focus. Athletes from eight disciplines—united by a common goal—to win a medal for Austria.

Among those present were Janine Flock, Benjamin Karl, Vincent Kriechmayr, Conny Hütter, Julia Scheib, Jan Hörl, Daniel Hemetsberger, Stefan Babinsky, Lisa Eder, Lara Wolf, Johanna Hiemer, and Anna Gandler. Each with their own story, their own path—and yet part of a greater whole.

Farewell – an evening that brings people together

The emotional finale was the farewell celebration in the Aula der Wissenschaften. An evening full of pride, solidarity, and anticipation for what lies ahead. Words that last. Looking ahead.

And that special feeling of being part of something bigger. Anna Gasser and Benjamin Karl, who will lead the team as flag bearers to Milano Cortina, sent a strong message. Responsibility that you don't just bear—you live it.
