The Aeka headband is designed for intense movement in warm conditions. The lightweight functional material supports rapid moisture wicking and ensures a dry, comfortable feel on the forehead. Cooling properties help regulate temperature and prevent heat build-up. Thanks to its elastic construction, the headband fits securely without causing pressure or slipping. The flat finish enhances comfort and makes the Aeka headband pleasant to wear even under a helmet or cap. A functional solution for running, trail running, and ski touring on warm days.

Active Knit is a patented 3D knitting technology developed by Eisbär in collaboration with scientists and professional athletes. It consists of three layers, with moisture being repelled from the layer in contact with the skin and transferred outward, where it can evaporate. Eisbär continues to further develop this technology and, through the use of new materials, achieves increasingly better results. This enables us to offer a sustainable and high-performance headwear product with Active Knit.

Origin and manufacturer

Manufacturing process

The manufacturing of our products involves four key steps: product development, design, knitting, and final assembly.

All Eisbär products originate in Austria. This is where the initial ideas are conceived, and where product development, prototyping, and design begin. Subsequently, approximately 80% of the products are knitted at our Austrian facility in our own production halls.

For capacity reasons, the subsequent finishing takes place partly in Austria and partly at our long-standing partner company in Croatia. This step includes, among other things, sewing in the care labels and attaching the logos. About 20% of the collection is currently manufactured at partner facilities within the EU and in Asia.

Finally, all products undergo a thorough quality control inspection on-site in Austria.
