This product has an inner lining—depending on the model, this can be a fleece band around the entire circumference, a full fleece lining, or another variant that reliably keeps the forehead, ears, and neck warm. A fleece band allows air to escape and circulate above the head. A full lining, on the other hand, is an excellent choice even for low levels of activity. All variants cover the ears and protect them from drafts.

The Ayora beanie combines natural material properties with functional comfort for athletic activities. The merino blend supports balanced temperature regulation and ensures a comfortable feel in changing conditions. Moisture is absorbed and gradually released to the outside, keeping the beanie dry even during movement. Its lightweight, flexible structure adapts well to the shape of the head and provides a secure fit without pressure. The best of both worlds combined: mulesing-free merino wool and polyacrylic for shape retention and easy care. Our Merino Mix 50 is OEKO-TEX® certified and sourced from Europe. The Merino Mix is suitable for year-round use, especially during the transitional seasons of spring and autumn. The product features a DRYARN inner layer that wicks sweat away from the forehead. Dryarn is an ultra-lightweight, breathable high-performance fiber that efficiently transports moisture, prevents odor build-up, and ensures a dry, fresh wearing experience even during intense activity. It is extremely lightweight and durable, making it ideal for use at the highest levels of intensity.

Origin and manufacturer

Manufacturing process

The manufacturing of our products involves four key steps: product development, design, knitting, and final assembly.

All Eisbär products originate in Austria. This is where the initial ideas are conceived, and where product development, prototyping, and design begin. Subsequently, approximately 80% of the products are knitted at our Austrian facility in our own production halls.

For capacity reasons, the subsequent finishing takes place partly in Austria and partly at our long-standing partner company in Croatia. This step includes, among other things, sewing in the care labels and attaching the logos. About 20% of the collection is currently manufactured at partner facilities within the EU and in Asia.

Finally, all products undergo a thorough quality control inspection on-site in Austria.
