Breathability refers to a material's ability to allow water vapor (sweat) to pass from the inside to the outside, and is therefore a measure of its water vapor permeability.

Moisture-regulating refers to the property of a material to absorb excess moisture, store it, and release it again when needed to ensure a healthy, dry, and comfortable indoor climate or wearing comfort.

Compared to other materials, natural merino wool can be considered the material that keeps the air cleanest. This is due to the structure of the fiber, its antibacterial surface, and its self-cleaning effect. A comparison between merino and synthetic materials also shows that synthetics usually start to smell faster. A true marvel of nature! Nevertheless, it must be clear that wool absorbs moisture and is therefore less suitable for people who sweat heavily in intensive mode.

This product uses brrr® and has been proven to lower body temperature thanks to the triple chill effect. It uses cooling, breathable materials that actively wick away moisture and dry quickly. This keeps your head comfortably cool even in high temperatures and during intense activity.

This product has an inner lining—depending on the model, this can be a fleece band around the entire circumference, a full fleece lining, or another variant that reliably keeps the forehead, ears, and neck warm. A fleece band allows air to escape and circulate above the head. A full lining, on the other hand, is an excellent choice even for low levels of activity. All variants cover the ears and protect them from drafts.
